Reality TV star Whitney Rose has filed for divorce from her husband Justin Rose after 16 years of marriage, Page Six reports.
According to the publication, Whitney submitted the filing along with a parenting plan to the Third District Court in Salt Lake City on Tuesday. Representatives for the Roses did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment. In July, it was reported that the couple had separated, and in September, Whitney spoke about the split in an interview with Us Weekly. She confirmed that she and Justin had parted ways in May and noted that their children—16-year-old Bobby and 13-year-old Brooks—"are very supportive" of them.
Whitney explained that they are using a «nesting» method, where the children stay in the primary home while the parents take turns living in an apartment. «The kids stay in our primary home, so their routine doesn’t change, their life doesn’t change», - Whitney said. She added that she and Justin continue to co-parent and work together, which she believes makes the situation calmer for the children.
Whitney also shared that before the separation, she moved into the guest room. «You might think it’s a small step. But for Justin and me, it was a big step», - she noted. Whitney added that the events surrounding their separation will be featured in the seventh season of «RHOSLC», - which premiered on September 16. «Everything you see this season happened in real time», - she emphasized.
