«Last Friday [March 6], our beloved Jennifer left us», - her loved ones wrote in a Facebook post. «It was a long and difficult journey that ended surrounded by family. We will always remember her for her love of life and dedication to family and friends. Rest in peace, our Jen».

Ranion built a stable career in film and television throughout the 1980s, appearing in several well-known movies and TV shows before stepping away from acting to focus on her family.

Ranion began her career in the early 1980s and quickly appeared in various popular films and television projects. She had roles in films such as «Ghostbusters» and «Point Break». On television, she was also known for her participation in series like «Charles in Charge» and the TV movie «Merry Christmas, Brady».

In 1991, Ranion married producer and basketball coach Todd Korman. The couple remained together for decades, building a family as she stepped back from acting and focused more on life outside of Hollywood.

Ranion and Korman had two children: son Wyatt and daughter Bailey. Their daughter, Bailey Korman, followed in her mother’s footsteps and became an actress, appearing in shows such as «9−1-1» and «Chilling Adventures of Sabrina».
