Famous actress Shelley Duvall passed away on Thursday, July 11, at the age of 75. Shelley was a critically acclaimed actress and appeared in many successful films (many of which were directed by Robert Altman), including «3 Women», «McCabe & Mrs. Miller», and others. However, her most famous (and controversial) role was in the 1980 horror film «The Shining», where she played the role of Wendy Torrance alongside Jack Nicholson in Stanley Kubrick’s classic horror.
Shelley passed away from complications related to diabetes at her home in Blanco, Texas, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Her longtime partner, Dan Gilroy, confirmed the news.
