Former Fox Business producer Jennifer Eckhart has died
Jennifer Eckhart, a former producer at Fox Business, was found dead in her home in Martin County, Florida, on September 19. She was 36 years old. According to the sheriff’s report, her death was ruled a suicide.

Martin County Sheriff John Budensik stated that Eckhart had previously undergone the Baker Act procedure six times, which applies to individuals with mental health issues in crisis situations.

Eckhart was born and raised in Miami and earned a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications news from the University of Florida. She began her media career as an entertainment host at WUFT-TV and later worked as a correspondent for ESPN Radio. From 2013 to 2020, she worked at Fox Business, where she produced shows such as The Claman Countdown.

In 2020, Eckhart sued former Fox News host Ed Henry, claiming he sexually harassed and raped her. Henry denied all allegations and was fired from Fox News in July 2020. In March 2025, Fox News was dismissed from the case, and in June of the same year, Eckhart and Henry reached a confidential settlement.

After leaving Fox, Eckhart launched a podcast called «Reinvented», - which focused on stories of overcoming adversity. The last episode was released in March and featured an interview with former Florida Senator Dave Aronberg. Eckhart last posted on Instagram in June, sharing her future plans.
