Although Martin said Robertson «immediately got up», - he admitted that Uncle Si «didn't want anyone to see that he fell», - but «the problem is now you’re all dirty, we know you fell».
After they returned to the clubhouse to enjoy breakfast, Martin recalled that they looked around and «Si was nowhere to be found», - adding that Robertson was just sitting outside in the cold.
«I immediately thought he had a concussion, because it wasn’t like him», - Martin pointed out, after which McMillan added: «I get a call from the nurse, Elizabeth. She says, 'Philip, we’re going to the ER.'»
Robertson was hospitalized due to low oxygen levels, which could have been caused by a panic attack, the hosts noted.
«I said, 'What's going on?' And I thought he would start laughing and talking. [But] no, he said, 'Dude, I’m in a lot of pain,'» McMillan noted. «He said, 'I fell while duck hunting and it seems I broke a few ribs.' He always thinks everything is worse than it is».
Fortunately, yes, Robertson is alive and recovering after the injury, Martin and McMillan emphasized. After X-rays and blood tests were conducted, McMillan noted that «everything was fine» and «no broken ribs or bruised ribs».
Many X users baselessly assumed that Robertson had died.
More than two years before his recent hospitalization, Uncle Si underwent lung surgery in September 2022. At that time, he had breathing problems, which Robertson attributed to his smoking habits, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and even complications from COVID-19
