RuPaul’s Drag Race mourns the loss of Jiggly Caliente. Just a few days after the amputation of her leg, the alumna of the fourth season, whose real name was Bianca Castro-Arabeho, passed away on April 27, 2025, as confirmed by her family on Instagram the same day. In their statement, Caliente’s loved ones noted that she «passed away peacefully» at 4:42 am, «surrounded by her loving family and close friends».

Caliente’s family continued in their statement: «While her physical presence is gone, the joy she shared and the space she helped create for many will remain forever. Caliente placed eighth in the fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, then returned for the sixth season and placed 12th. Later, she became a judge on Drag Race Philippines for three seasons.
The official cause of Caliente’s death has not been disclosed, but she passed away after a «severe infection», - as reported by her family «over the last month».
Just three days before her death, Caliente had her right leg amputated due to health complications from the infection. In a statement on Instagram, the family of the Drag Race Philippines judge shared that she experienced a «serious setback in health».
«Due to a severe infection, she was hospitalized and, as a result, lost a large part of her right leg», - the statement read. «Due to these circumstances, Bianca will not be participating in the upcoming season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines, nor will she be attending any public events in the foreseeable future».
Adding that Caliente’s recovery «will be lengthy», - her family asked for privacy.
