No cast members from «Teenagers» have confirmed whether they will return for a second season. However, it is unlikely that Owen Cooper’s character, Jamie Miller, will return, as co-writer Jack previously stated that his story is «complete».
«Our goal was to tell Jamie’s story as fully as possible», - Jack said during an appearance on ITV’s This Morning in March 2025, according to The Independent. «I think Jamie’s story is complete… I don’t think we can develop Jamie further, so I don’t think there will be a second season. We would like to explore the one-shot format in a different way. We would like to tell other stories with it, but I don’t think a second season of 'Teenagers' is right for us».
