In Philadelphia, bones were discovered in the yard of the late porn filmmaker Raymond Horsch, who is considered a suspect in the disappearance of seven women. This was reported by law enforcement, who clarified that the find was made in the Olney neighborhood, where Horsch lived with his adult son, Eugene.
On October 15, employees of the Philadelphia Office of Forensic Medicine visited the home to assess the remains found. According to CBS News, investigators have not yet determined whether the bones belong to a human or an animal, and it is unclear if they are connected to the investigation into the women’s disappearances. The day before, the Philadelphia police and the FBI arrived at the site to excavate in search of possible human remains.
The discovery of the bones was the result of an investigation that linked seven missing women to Horsch’s home based on photos and videos found in his residence. Raymond Horsch passed away in 2025 at the age of 82. During the investigation, over a million images were identified, depicting women who appeared to be victims, dead, or unconscious.
The investigation began after Eugene Horsch was arrested in June on unrelated drug charges and illegal possession of firearms. At the time of his arrest, he had a woman with an identification belonging to one of the missing, Blair Tonzelli, who had not been seen since 2023. Eugene was also found to have two firearms and drugs.
Tonzelli and four other missing women, including Amy McHale, Maribel Freeses, Gabrielle Amarante, and Nicole Fusaro, were identified in images found in the house. Amy McHale, who went missing in 2016, was Raymond’s ex-wife.
Eugene’s attorney stated that his client has no connection to the searches at the house, which he inherited after his father’s death. Currently, Eugene is not charged in connection with the women’s disappearances. Raymond Horsch is also known as the author of several books, one of which describes himself as an «empathetic serial killer».
