Val Chmerkovskiy spoke about his upcoming performance with partner Jenna Dewan on «Dancing with the Stars» in week 4, where they will dance the rumba to Mariah Carey’s music. In an interview with «Extra», - Val noted that their dance will be «challenging» and requires a slower tempo so that Jenna can enjoy the moment.
Chmerkovskiy emphasized that previous dances, such as the jive, samba, and tango, were more dynamic and intense. He pointed out that Jenna did not have the opportunity to slow down and show a softer side. Val described Jenna as «cool» and «funny», - adding that she is «just love».
According to him, Jenna is «on a different frequency» and does not get distracted by external factors, radiating only love, joy, and positivity. He also mentioned that Jenna is simultaneously filming the series «The Rookie», - which complicates their rehearsals. Chmerkovskiy acknowledged that it can be «difficult to coordinate» at times, but they will manage the situation.
