Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker have finally commented on the birth of their first child. A day after several sources reported that the 35-year-old actress had become a mother, she and the 28-year-old baseball player released a statement, which Vanessa posted on her Instagram Stories.
«We are disappointed that our family’s private life has been disrupted and exploited during this special time due to the greed of the long-focus camera feeding the media», - the couple wrote in the statement. «Nevertheless, mom, dad, and baby are happy and healthy».
On Wednesday, July 3, paparazzi photos emerged showing Vanessa and Cole leaving the hospital in Santa Monica, California, as she held her newborn in her arms. Earlier that day, the new mom wished her husband a happy birthday but had not yet publicly confirmed the birth of the baby.

In March, Vanessa confirmed that she was pregnant with her first child with Cole, walking the Oscars red carpet with her baby bump on display. The couple began dating in late 2020 and got married in December 2023.
Before they got married, the former Disney star opened up to NYLON magazine about how her views on relationships changed before she met Cole.
«I always thought I would get married at 25 because my mom got married at that age, and when it didn’t happen, I thought, 'Oh, okay, so we’ll just push everything back a little bit,'» Vanessa explained to the magazine in September 2022. «I always thought around 36, 37 I would want kids, and that’s still relevant.
