Vince Gilligan has created an entire Emmy-worthy television world with the series «Breaking Bad» and its spin-off «Better Call Saul». However, his new project, «Pluribus», - is airing on a different platform not affiliated with AMC and introduces viewers to an alien storyline in a post-apocalyptic world.
The series, which debuted in November 2025, follows writer Carol Sturke (Rhea Seehorn), who lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She discovers that she is one of the last people on Earth with free will. Humanity has been affected by an alien virus that has infected people with a peaceful collective consciousness. Carol and about a dozen other people on the planet are immune to this virus—at least for now—and she must come to terms with her new reality.
