Vladimir Klitschko will pay Hayden Panettiere’s tax debt

Ex-boyfriend of Hayden Panettiere, Vladimir Klitschko, stated that he is using his own funds to pay off the actress’s tax debt. According to court documents obtained by TMZ on October 7, Klitschko claims he is allocating $ 30,000 to prevent interest and penalties from accruing on Panettiere’s estate.
Klitschko believes that Panettiere’s individual tax returns for 2025 must be filed by October 15. He plans to seek reimbursement of these funds from the estate once it is settled.
The documents filed by Klitschko come amid his efforts to become the guardian of his daughter Kaya’s estate. In September, he had already approached the court to be appointed as guardian in order to file documents and propose an administrator on behalf of his daughter to protect her rights to Panettiere’s estate.
This week, Klitschko also filed documents in court demanding explanations from law enforcement regarding why his ex-partner's personal belongings ended up in a pawn shop. He claims that the pawn shop refused to provide information about specific items without a request from law enforcement, which poses a risk of losing remaining items, including jewelry belonging to Panettiere.
Panettiere passed away on August 16 at the age of 36. According to the Greenville County coroner in South Carolina, the cause of death was the toxic effects of fentanyl and other substances. Her death was ruled accidental. In September, a representative for the actress stated that the investigation is ongoing and the case is complex.
