Vladimir Klitschko is demanding clarification from law enforcement after personal belongings of his former partner Hayden Panettiere ended up in a pawn shop. According to court documents obtained by Us, Klitschko believes that an individual, who is not a family member but was previously associated with Panettiere, sold some of her items.
Klitschko claims that the pawn shop refused to disclose information about specific items without a request from law enforcement. He expressed concerns that there is a real risk of the remaining items being sold or lost, including jewelry that is believed to have belonged to Panettiere. Earlier this month, a source informed the publication that Panettiere’s engagement ring from Klitschko went missing in the days leading up to her death.
Recent court documents from Klitschko are related to his attempt to become the guardian of his daughter Kaya’s estate. In September, he had already petitioned the court to appoint him as guardian so he could protect his daughter’s rights to Panettiere’s inheritance. In his latest filings, Klitschko noted that there is currently no personal representative for Panettiere’s estate, and no one has the authority to request law enforcement assistance in investigating the return of the property.
Hayden Panettiere passed away on August 16 at the age of 36. According to the coroner in Greenville County, South Carolina, the cause of death was the toxic effects of fentanyl and other substances. Her death was ruled accidental. Following her death, Klitschko expressed his condolences on social media, stating that Panettiere was an important part of his life and the mother of their daughter.
