The Kardashian-Jenner family was connected to the late O.J. Simpson, as Robert Kardashian Sr. served as his defense attorney in the 1990s. Although they rarely spoke about this former football star, Kris Jenner’s revelation that she had a romance with someone sparked rumors that O.J. might actually be the father of Khloe Kardashian.
In her 2011 memoir «Kris Jenner… And All Things Kardashian», - the manager admitted to the affair during her marriage to Rob. She occasionally expressed regret over the years, including on the show «Keeping Up with the Kardashians», - when Khloe insisted her mother explain why she did it.
After the revelation of her affair, online trolls speculated that Kris had a romance with O.J. in the 1990s. However, both of them denied this rumor.
«They printed a story that I slept with O.J»., - Kris complained in one episode of «Keeping Up with the Kardashians». «That piece of s**t. It’s really pathetic that when rumors start, the media breathes life into them, and on the anniversary of Nicole’s death. It’s so tasteless and disgusting».
From O.J.'s side, he stated that this speculation was «not in any way true» during an appearance on the «Full Send» podcast in December 2022.
«People have their preferences, right? I always thought Kris was a nice girl», - he explained, adding, «She was really nice. But I dated supermodels… The rumor is not true. It’s not even close to being true».
During a 2012 interview, Robert’s ex-wife Jan Ashley claimed that her late husband once told her why he did not consider Khloe his daughter.
«Khloe is not his child — he told me that after we got married», - she claimed. «He just looked at me and said it as a matter of fact. He said, 'Well, you know that Khloe is not really a Kardashian, right?' And I said… 'Okay,' and that was it».
However, Kris made sure to debunk the rumor during an episode of KUWTK, where she made Khloe take a DNA test.
«Mom, I don’t care what they say», - Khloe said at the time. «Seriously, my dad is Robert Kardashian. My other dad is [Caitlyn] Jenner. I don’t need someone to tell me who my family is. I was blessed to have two phenomenal fathers. I don’t need a DNA test to prove who my father is».
In 1994, O.J. Simpson’s ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman were stabbed to death at her home in Los Angeles. After initially being charged with both murders, O.J. was acquitted after a lengthy trial in 1995.
