Return of Hilary Duff: new album and possible tour!
9 september 2025 в 21:28
Hey, right now, hey, right now — if you forgot, Hilary Duff was one of the most popular singers of the early 2000s. She paved the way for some future Disney Channel stars, leading the sitcom Lizzie McGuire, her eponymous movie, and what was supposed to be a revival of the series until it was canceled. But when it came to music, Hilary’s fans knew her eternal hits, such as «Come Clean», - «So Yesterday», - «Metamorphosis», - and many more. And now she’s coming back as a singer! So when will her new album be released, and is it possible that Hilary will go on tour for the first time in a decade?
Hollywood Life magazine has gathered everything we already know about Hilary’s long-awaited return to music.
Hilary signed with Atlantic Records in September 2025, and she is in the studio working on her new album. So it’s too early to say when it will be released.
Less than two weeks before this release, the Disney Channel alum hinted at her return in an Instagram post. In August 2025, Hilary marked the 22nd anniversary of her album «Metamorphosis».
«I obviously had to dig through the internet for photos from that time, as I’m not sure camera phones existed back then», - Hilary wrote in the caption of photos of herself from the 2000s. «Unfortunately, all my hairstyles are very well documented. I know that time was a huge change in my life. I was starting something that I had no idea would be so important to people’s lives and mine. Although I look back and think this album doesn’t have the emotional depth I seek today, I know my 14/15-year-old self meant every word. It certainly came to people at the right time and sent me on quite an epic adventure».
Hilary also recalled that «some of [her] first performances were in a skate park in San Jose, [California], and very soon after that she was on stage in arenas».
Hilary has not confirmed whether she plans to tour, but it would make sense if she did to perform all her new music.
Hilary’s last tour was her Dignity tour from 2007 to 2008. Her first tour was the Metamorphosis tour from 2003 to 2004, which elevated the then-teenager to star level.
Hilary is now proud of four children in total. She shares her son Luca with ex-husband Mike Comrie and her other three children, Banks, Mae, and Townes, with husband Matthew Koma
