Olivia Pope and President Fitzgerald Grant had the best reunion in real life. Former co-stars of the series «Scandal» Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn took several joint photos during the third evening of the Democratic National Convention, and the 47-year-old actress shared them on social media.
«Giving people what they want», - Kerry wrote in her tweet on Wednesday, August 21, alongside two photos with Tony, 64. She added the hashtags «ForDemocracy» and «Olitz» to her message, which hinted at the relationship between her character in «Scandal», - Olivia, and Fitz Tony.
In the first photo, the former colleagues took a joint selfie in front of a large crowd at the DNC in Chicago. In the second photo, Kerry playfully pretended to clean Tony’s nose while he smiled at the camera.

Tony gave an interview to Variety after his hosting performance and explained how he got involved in Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign.
«I was asked to be a surrogate for the campaign, especially when President Biden decided to step down and Kamala took his place, and there was this huge surge of energy», - he said. «I said, 'Whatever you want, I’m ready.' They asked if I wanted to come to the convention, and I said, 'If my work schedule allows and what do you think?' And they said, 'Well, we have an idea. How about hosting the first evening?' Luckily, my work schedule allowed».
When asked how he and his «Scandal» colleague ended up at the DNC, Tony joked that «life imitates art». However, he emphasized that their hosting duties «have nothing to do with scandal».
