Two brothers, one choice — and apparently, it’s a difficult choice for Belly Conklin in the series «The Summer I Turned Pretty». Played by actress Lola Tung, the Prime Video series is in its third and final season, and Belly must choose between her first love, Conrad Fisher (Christopher Braine), and her next love, Jeremy Fisher (Gavin Casalengo). As fans continue to watch the third season, find out the age difference between the three main characters here.

Conrad is about two years older than Belly.

Jeremy is about one year older than Belly.

Fans met Belly when she was 15 in the first season of «The Summer I Turned Pretty». In the second season, she was 17, and in the third season, Belly turned 21.

Conrad started the show at 17 and was about to turn 18 — the oldest of the friendly group. In the second season, Conrad was 19, and in the third season, he was 23.

As for Jeremy, the other Fisher brother started the show at 16. In the second season, he was 18, and in the third season, he was 22.

The ages of Belly, Conrad, and Jeremy in the books are roughly the same as in the TV series.

In the book trilogy «The Summer I Turned Pretty», Belly ends up with Conrad after finally breaking up with Jeremy. She and Jeremy were planning to get married, but Conrad begs her not to go through with it. A big fight ensues between the brothers, and Jeremy tells Belly that he knows Conrad is her first choice. Ultimately, Belly and Conrad reunite when she goes abroad to college. They maintain a connection through letters and meet at Belly’s college graduation. Some time later, Belly and Conrad get married, and Jeremy is a guest at the couple’s wedding.

Although the Prime Video series is based on Jenny Han’s books, the show does not follow the trilogy literally. Therefore, it is currently unclear who Belly will choose at the end of the third season.

Jenny has hinted to fans in the past about how different the show is from the books.

«I really had to weigh what the fans were expecting with where the show creatively was going and find that balance», - Jenny told Variety magazine in June 2022. «My priority has always been that I want the book fans to feel really satisfied with the story we’re telling, but also to know that it’s an adaptation in a new medium, so it won’t be exactly the same».

Jenny added that fans «never know what could happen with the show» because she «considers a lot of different possibilities»
