William Daniels celebrated his 97th birthday this year, while his wife recently turned 95. However, not only their long lives as individuals are remarkable, but also the 73 years they have spent together as a couple.
«It seems like we are breaking records», - Bartlett Daniels said in an interview with PEOPLE.
«I mean, we both set a record when we won Emmys on the same night for the same show. That was a record, no one had done that before. Now, it seems like there are no marriages in Hollywood that last 73 years, so we seem to be setting records».
Daniels is best known for his role as Mr. Feeny over seven seasons of the series «Boy Meets World» from 1993 to 2000. Around his 96th birthday, he spent time with his former co-stars from the show. He and his wife met with Will Friedle, Danielle Fishel, and Rider Strong, who played the roles of Eric Matthews, Topanga Lawrence, and Shawn Hunter respectively, in the series.
Friedle told PEOPLE in June 2022 that «he still radiates pearls of wisdom».
«His wife, Bonnie, too. Communicating with them is still magical», - Fishel added, to which Fishel added: «If you are ready to listen, Bill throws pearls left and right».
Now, as the «Boy Meets World» alum has largely stepped away from his Hollywood career, he and his wife are «very happy» and spend time with their three sons and many grandchildren.
«We sit in this house and do things. He reads his New York Times, and mostly does Cameo. And we participate in conventions and similar events», - Bartlett Daniels told PEOPLE. «We just love being together. And we are ready to do anything for each other»
