The famous word game «Wordle» from the New York Times has become a global addiction. All players have six attempts to guess the five-letter answer each day in the games section of the publication. So, what was today’s answer in Wordle?

Today’s Wordle starts with the letter B.
Programmer and artist Josh Wardle created Wordle during the COVID-19 quarantine measures with his partner Palak Shah. He studied media arts at Royal Holloway University in London, then obtained a master’s degree in fine arts in digital art. Josh worked at Reddit and Pinterest before Wordle became a global phenomenon.
The name of the game is a play on words on Josh’s surname. According to The Verge, Josh revealed that he originally considered naming the game «Mr. Bugs' Wordy Nugz».
«It's true: I was going to call 'Wordle' Mr. Bugs' Wordy Nugz», - he previously shared during a presentation on stage. «If I had named the game Mr. Bugs, I don’t think it would have been successful».
While developing the Wordle prototype, Josh only showed it to close friends and family.
«I was trying to make something that was authentic to me. I was trying to create something for the people I love», - Josh explained earlier, according to The Verge. «It just so happened that many others loved it too».
Josh advises other innovators to follow their own paths and avoid repeating an invention like his.
«Don't try to make 'Wordle.' Do what you like and what matters to you», - he suggested. «And everything else will follow from that»
