Jan Ravnik didn’t flinch after Julianne Hough’s awkward joke about his fate on «Dancing with the Stars». In an exclusive interview with Us, he joked, «Julianne, no one is safe. No one knows who will be eliminated. Maybe you won’t be here next week».
Ravnik and Tatyana Ali performed an energetic salsa to Kendrick Lamar’s «Squabble Up», - earning 29 out of 40 points from the judges. During a conversation with the couple in the skybox, co-host Hough asked how they plan to add more «power» to their number for Dedication Night, «if you’re here next week». Ravnik humorously replied, «We have a dance that has no power, so I don’t know».
Fortunately, Ravnik and Ali remain in the show for next week, as Guillermo Rodriguez and Whitney Carson were eliminated. However, they are not revealing many details about their next performance. Ali noted that it’s hard to think about next week when focused on the current performance: «I know it’s happening on Tuesday, but in my head, there’s only one minute, those 60 seconds we spend on the dance floor».
Ali also added that she doesn’t want to disclose details about the next number to avoid «getting in trouble». Nevertheless, the couple is pleased with their scores from Super Bowl Night, including the first eight of the season. Ali mentioned that she is trying to improve her skills and confidence on the dance floor, adding that her outfit for this week was «very short», - which requires confidence.
