The Judds group member started off 2023 on a bad note. Although she was scheduled to perform on New Year’s Eve with fellow country artist Kelsea Ballerini, Wynonna had to cancel the show due to a «severe bout of dizziness» at the time.

During the CMA Awards ceremony in November 2023, viewers saw Wynonna appearing unsure on stage while singing with Jelly Roll. As they sang «Need Favor», - Wynonna seemed to be clutching onto Jelly Roll’s jacket, belting out the notes. Seeing the show, many fans expressed their concern on social media.
«She looked like she could barely walk, clutching onto Jelly’s jacket and not moving», - wrote one user X. «Why is Wynonna Judd holding onto Jelly so tightly and shouting the words?» added another person.
The next day, Wynonna explained in an Instagram video that everything was actually fine, but she was «so damn nervous» to perform, despite being a powerful singer.
«Don't read the comments, I read the comments!» she began. «I'm just going to confess to you. I was so damn nervous. I went out on stage, looked at Jelly Roll. I wanted everything to be so good for him. I could cry right now, but I won’t, because I’m such a fan of his, and he asked me to sing, and I said, 'Of course!' I went out on stage and was so nervous, just holding on for dear life. And that’s the main thing».
Wynonna has had several health issues over the years, as her fans remember. In 2003, she appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show to discuss her weight loss journey.
