Fans of the musical «Wicked» knew that this day would come — the end of the Yellow Brick Road. As the release of Universal Pictures' film «Wicked: For Good» approaches, rumors have already spread about the conclusion of the second film, and some fans are wondering if there will be a post-credit scene after the movie.

Co-stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, who play Elphaba and Glinda respectively, have been diligently working on promoting both «Wicked» films for the past two years. From their iconic interviews to performances on stage, the talented singers find it difficult to say goodbye to Oz. Earlier this month, the duo performed on NBC in «Wicked: One Wonderful Night», - and they brought viewers to tears in March with their joint performance at the Oscars.

Here Hollywood Life has gathered everything we know so far about «Wicked: For Good!» (Warning: spoilers ahead for «Wicked: For Good»)

No, there is no post-credit scene in the first «Wicked» film. The first part of the double film ends with Elphaba (Erivo) flying off to the west, singing «Defying Gravity», - leaving Glinda with Madame Morrible.

The only hint of any post-credit scene for «Wicked: For Good» was a commercial for Dunkin' Donuts featuring Erivo and Jonathan Bailey before the film’s release. In the commercial, the pair promotes the company’s limited-time offer of matcha and pink drinks and Munchkins, calling it «Dunkin' End-Credit Scene, Wicked: For Good». Bailey and Erivo refer to it as their «bonus scene», - playing a melodramatic scene between their characters, Elphaba and Fiyero.

Actress Bethany Weaver plays Dorothy Gale from Kansas. As fans of the original «Wizard of Oz» already know, the role was originally played by the late Judy Garland.

If the film follows the Broadway musical, it should end with the Wizard discovering that he is actually Elphaba’s biological father. He then leaves Oz in Glinda’s hands. After Elphaba and Glinda sing together one last time («For Good»), Dorothy douses Elphaba — now the «Wicked Witch of the West» — with water, causing her to melt. But Elphaba later reveals that she faked her death and reappears through a trapdoor.

Now with Fiyero, who has become a scarecrow because of Elphaba’s spell, the pair leaves Oz together, and Glinda informs the citizens of Oz that the Wicked Witch of the West is dead
