Marnie and Cal officially tied the knot! «Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge» stars Kimberly J. Brown and Daniel Kountz got married on Friday, April 19, almost eight years after starting their relationship. The former Disney Channel actress, 39, and «Young and the Restless» alum, 45, shared photos from their wedding ceremony over the weekend, which took place in Camarillo, California.

At the ceremony, Kimberly wore a simple strapless white tulle dress and left her hair down in voluminous curls. Daniel wore a simple black suit for the occasion, which took place at the Spanish Hills Club.
The couple announced their relationship publicly in 2018, but reportedly started dating in 2016. In their «Halloweentown» franchise film, Kimberly’s character Marnie meets the manipulative and charming Cal played by Daniel — also known as Calabar’s son — at a Halloween party at her home in the mortal world. Soon Marnie learns that Cal is trying to avenge his father Calabar on Halloweentown by creating a «gray spell» on the otherwise bright and picturesque town.
After playing enemies on screen, Kimberly and Daniel reunited years later. In 2021, the Halloween queen revealed on TikTok that she and the real estate agent had no «romantic feelings for each other» during filming. Furthermore, they «hadn't seen or spoken to each other, at least, for a good 10 years» after that.
«We first met 20 years ago, filming a movie together where our characters flirted a bit at the beginning, but then I found out he was my family’s archenemy, and I basically hated him throughout the entire movie», - Kimberly said. «Then we met again a few years ago to film some comedy sketches for my YouTube channel and unexpectedly fell in love. So, funny how life sometimes surprises you».
