A recently released audio recording of a 911 call captures the attempts to save Hayden Panettiere’s life. In the recording, her boyfriend Brian Hickerson’s brother, Zach, frantically speaks to the dispatcher, trying to revive the actress.
Zach reported that he arrived at the apartment after a church service and found his brother inside with Hayden, who was unconscious. He asked the dispatcher how to perform CPR and clarified that Hayden was not breathing. The 911 operator instructed him to find a defibrillator, but Zach was unable to do so. The dispatcher then guided him on how to start CPR, explaining the proper technique.
Emergency services arrived at the scene; however, it was later revealed that Panettiere had died from the toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, alprazolam, methocarbamol, and quetiapine. The cause of death was ruled an accident. As of now, neither of the brothers has been charged with a crime related to Panettiere’s death.
